I know we are leaving Gettysburg. I think it’s the rain that made it awful, everyday. We got everything together it takes a long while to hook the TUX to the truck. The trucks name is Glacier, it’s white! But we got up at 8:30 and didn’t leave till about noon? I can’t tell what took all that time. Although, my husband is meticulous with his truck and TUX. Ya know how men have something they are one with? Their favorite thing, besides you!
We started on the road everything moving together, a good thing. No rain. I’m squinting at the sun. The ride wasn’t too long a couple of hours. Ghost was up and down in the back didn’t settle down much.
We got our site, and checked in. It’s a nice place up on a hill. But, the site is not level side to side. It seemed like an hour before he figured out how to make it perfect. I can’t complain but I wanted to scream. Of course then there’s unhook the truck. Oh and start the electric connection. Ah, I can finally open up TUX. I got everything in order. I thought OK that’s it.
He announces we need to go to the country store, yippee. I love it. It is owned by the Amish. They have an aisle that is full of known brand name goods for less than half price. Can goods if a dollar is high. Crackers $.99/ chips, name brand, $2.49 for big bags, jars usually $1-2.00. Then fresh goods off the farms, huge lettuce $.99, tomatoes $1.99 lb, broccoli 1.39 I’m crazy in this store. We ended up with 2 boxes 4 bags and 24 bottles propel $10.00. The total. $91.- AMAZING!
We came back I managed to put everything away, always a miracle that I can do it! Now it is dinner time. Oh I forgot to mention the veggie pizza, Italian brand $2.99. Yummo!
The day is over I’m shot. We are finally somewhere else and I’m enjoying it.
