I am writing this on the 14th, so I really don’t think there was anything to write about on the 12th. It was a boring day. I can’t even remember dinner which means it probably was leftovers. So, I apologize for not writing. Doesn’t everyone have a day that was blah?
However, the 13th was the opposite. We didn’t have plans. It was Grey outside. But, my husband’s wants chicken noodle soup with matzoh balls. If that’s the case, we need a cooked chicken. No, I’m not making that, too.
The first place is Sam’s they always have roasted chickens. We drive there it’s about 30 mins away. There are so many fields of corn that just go on and on. The huge farms with silos so tall. I get so upset cause there are so many pictures and he is going too fast to catch the pictures. We’ll we get to Sam’s, and this is a first but no chickens, and the cooking ones need an hour to go. We got a few things.
But, we get in the car and go to Aldis. Now this store doesn’t sell cooked chicken but we get some things here which are cheaper than other stores.
Now, where? Near by, Is a store that looks brand new, Giant. We stop there and look around. Nice inside, and they do have a roasted cooked chicken several dollars more, but beggers can’t be choosers! I think that’s the saying.
We got plenty of food in the back of the truck. But don’t you know, on the way back, he stops at the Amish store!
Where are we going to put this stuff! That’s my problem. The one thing that is my problem is, I whined to get a case of snapple tea. He brought it in the RV, and we had one already at the foot of the bed! Shoot me! He might have if he had a gun!
It took me a while to find a place to put all the food. It was crazy. My refrigerator is packed, and so is the pantry.
Dinner I made a stir fry with bok choy and a bag of frozen chicken. I put basmati fried rice in the rice cooker. I forget I have it.
What a day! Hope you had a good day. Thanks as always for coming to read my blog. Luv ya stay cool
To me, it’s pretty the farm and different fields and mountains. We don’t have this in florida.
