We decide we have got to do laundry. Turns out they have a facility here at the campground. So we walked our stuff up to the laundry. 4 washers. So I picked two put in my pod and clothes in 2. BUT…then I go to pay.
I just could not pay. No matter what I did. Put a camera over the Q box. Get the email but no matter what I could not get to pay. I tried my credit card..no.you have to buy a card. There was no place to buy a card. After at least an hour I was done.
I gathered everything from the 2 washers back in the bags. Took out the pods and got in the truck. We went to town where there is a huge laundromat.
They have huge machines so I picked two. I had towels and underwear. You can’t put them together. It took half an hour. Then, two dryers they were enormous, too. I don’t know where the time went. Then, when done, you have to fold it to put in bags to get home. I guess talking to other people made the time pass.
I then had to put it all away when we got back. That was an entire day. Have dinner and collapse.
June 20th
I started out the day, so frustrated I screamed! I call someone I don’t hear the phone ring. Then I don’t hear anybody. It is dreadful.
We know the wifi is bad But not like this issue. We decided to go down the mountain and try to call then. We pull into a parking lot of stores. There is a price chopper supermarket.
He makes a call, and it’s great it goes thru. My turn nope the same issue. We decide we need a Verizon. We look up and we are facing a verizon store. WEIRD! We go over to the store. They try everything. Finally, after maybe an hour , we still don’t know what they did, but my phone works now.
Then we explain what happens up the mountain. So they convinced us to buy this backup wifi box. But they go thru my bill and figure out a way to buy the box and lower the cost of some plans. They were such nice guys. There was also a young girl who had a waist of 20, maybe the skinniest thing we have ever seen.
Well, we were talking to the two men who were just so smart and nice people. The one reminded me of my son. He has been into martial arts. He is into AI. He is learning language on the internet. Crazy similar. The difference is that he has 4 daughters. Wow!
We finally left it was nearly 5pm. We went grocery shopping. Oh, the bakery and homemade breads! It is hard to pick one.
It is really a nice store. We bought what we needed and then some. Isn’t that always the case? We got back in the truck, and it was nearly 6 pm. By the time I made dinner pork tenderloin, I think it was after 8 pm. before we were done. What an exhausting day.
My phone calls didn’t get done, and now it’s the weekend. I’m praying Monday, I will try and call these business issues, and it all works out.
I hope you all had a better day with less stress. My kids called, and I couldn’t respond. That was one of the worst things .
