FRIDAY we really didn’t go anywhere. We had to pack up in between rain storms. We decided to hitch the truck up to the RV, so in the morning, if it’s raining, it will be done. Inside, I was putting things away that were lying around. Nothing can be out because there are two slides, and they come in to travel. I also have to line up the food in the refrigerator and place bars across the shelves so nothing falls out. There is also a screw that has a square at the end for the frig. It makes sure the doors don’t open. I do the same line up with bars for the pantry.
I made an outstanding dinner. It is pasta but filled like ravioli or captavelli [not sure of the spelling] it’s hard to find. Or I used chicken and cheese filled tortellini! That gets mixed with sausage, onions, garlic, and tomatoes. Some spices and parmasean cheese. Yummo!!
Then we hung out doing whatever until we went to sleep tomorrow is a long drive 5 hours.
JULY 26 SATURDAY
Get up early, put things away off counters, off tables, even our chairs go up on the bed! We felt bad the guy next to us was supposed to leave yesterday, and his brain box on his RV froze. A lot of actions are controlled by this box. The legs and stabilizers, it controls leveling. We have one, too.
Anyhow we were already together so at 8:45am we are on the road. Ghost usually goes to sleep but n̈ot this time. I keep control so he doesn’t bother El.
We came thru a rain storm with lightning. It was so bad that there was a line of cars and trucks that pulled off the road. The rain was so hard and the sky black. If it lasts 10 minutes, it was a lot, but it was scary. Then, the sky up ahead had some clearing. The ride was long, and there were tricky right left turns and lanes. So we were ever vigilant to be correct. It’s no fun when you have the rv and you make a mistake.
After 5 hours we made it to the campground. I went to unpack everything and set up the rooms. But…OH NO a box of bread crumbs fell, and the top came off. The entire floor of the pantry, with all sorts of goods down there, covered in bread crumbs. I got a small brush and wet cloth. I cleaned off every bottle, beer, wine, water, soda, need I go on? Then, swept it out. I was shot after that on my knees and a 5 hr drive.
Well, whatever was a leftover we had for dinner. It worked out fine. We don’t have TV. It’s only one night then we move to Tennesee tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by to read my blog. Luv yas
Pictures
Below is the storm. The sky was black and pouring rain and lightening.

The middle picture is one of the many homes that were so small. This one is typical. I think our RV has more room. On the right is a garage!
The last one is an antique RV. The campground we left was having an old-time RV convention. Some were 50 yrs old.
