Two days of bumping along a road filled with pot holes. I thought my neck would break. Or may bad back was going to break. I even started to get a headache.
Tomorrow we are traveling again. I have to send a complaint to the planner. Truck riding for 3 days is not a good plan.
Now that I got that out of my system, I can move on. Yesterday’s campsite was so very pretty. I will share a picture.
But tonight, it is a KOA. The upper-class campgrounds. Our site has a patio with a rocking chair for 2. In front of that is a fireplace. So very nice. Of course it’s raining and everything is soaked. There is a BBQ grill and a table with four nice chairs. There are log cabins along this really pretty pond. They even have a menu for food. It has breakfast, lunch sandwiches and stuff for dinner, and all sorts of pizza sizes and stuff to put on it.
It’s a shame the weather sucks. We are also tired from riding 5 hours, I think. The pressure driving thru rain and bumping roads and pot holes you get dumped from your seat it is that awful. Not to mention an RV in tow.
We got in, and what do I open first? I was afraid every cabinet and all things would dump out. Well, if I say so myself, I have this under control. The only thing that fell was a fruit basket I put at the back of the stove. No harm done. The frig was good. I watch it carefully. I put up metal bars to hold things back. They did fall, but nothing came down. Yeah, me!
Dinner I thought of ordering but we have so much food. So I made a big salad with everything i could find. Then I had filled pasta left over and cooked that. Then, I added an egg roll. Crazy but good and filling.

The first and second pictures are the current campsite. Awesome, right? Rocker, fireplace, grill and table and chairs! We typically do not get this stuff. The top one is the view from the campsite. A beautiful pond and trees a cabin on the pond.
Above is the rain we were headed for. It was a bad ride for 5 hours. The bumping, pot holes and rain. He will be sleeping before his head hits the pillow.
