What a long day again. I woke up at 6:30 am. Yes, me before the sun came up. But we have another very long car ride 6 hours! And the good news is it didn’t even rain!
There is not a lot to write about today. We shared half a bagel for breakfast and got in the truck on the road by 9ish.
I did my emails, and I read some of a book. The cat would not settle down. Meow over and over and over again. Thank goodness most of the ride was not bumping over and over. Whoever you talk to, they know about the awful roads.
I didn’t make sandwiches for the ride. Slipped my mind. So we got chicken and cheese on bread. It was food.
I must say I like looking at the mountains and how they round into each other. So different from where I live with the beaches and palm trees.
We finally got to the campground. I forgot how unique the main store is inside. The place was owned by a worldwide hunter. He apparently sent them home from where ever he was located. The shelves near the ceiling have lots of animals. Awesome to see. Skulls of huge animals. So many things. It’s a museum.
Dinner turned out easy. I had chopped chicken and frozen pieces in a bag. I took that out and frozen fajita veggies. I had roll ups. It worked adding spices and salsa and voila dinner. Down it with a Murphys beer, and we are good.
Well I’m tired but a show I like is on TV Fire Country. Do you like it? Anyhow, I’m writing my blog during commercials.
