August 4 travel to Gettysburg, PA

It was a decent ride considering all the horrendous roads we have been on to get back here.

The day was nice outside, so we had no rain and went thru some weird transitions from one hywy to the next, but we didn’t get lost. My only concern is that he kept mentioning that the weight in the rear is shifting the RV. The rear moved to such an extent that drivers were beeping at us. It happened several times. First time I ever felt concerned with the driving of the RV.

We didn’t stop for gas, so I didn’t get any coffee. That made me sad.  The trip was pretty. We went thru beautiful mountains. The views were so pretty and big. We even went thru several long mountain tunnels.  I remember the NY ones they were fairly dark. These had LEDs for lights, so it was bright inside.

Our spot, I guess, is OK. Shady, but it seems a little narrow. But, it should not matter since we are dealing with Beckleys to perform warranty repairs. I’m not looking forward to this process. But a necessity.

Well, I’m so tired. I’m headed for bed at 8 pm. Will probably read my book or watch TV and pass out.

That was my day not exciting to most,

Thank you so very much for stopping by to read my travel blog. It does my heart good. Please enjoy!

The first 2 are mountain views. I wish I got more, but the speed of the truck and the others who get in the way of your shot make it difficult.

The third is a bunch of windmills. We have seen them before but except for one they were not working. Rather strange.

The last is a little town we past along the way. There is one building that was outstanding it’s the highest one. I didn’t get a great shot at it.
