Still in Gettysburg PA
Although we are looking at our calendar about when we will come home towards the end of this month. Summer for us is winding down.
I was woken at around 6 am. close to the sun coming up! I dragged myself out of bed and got dressed. Then, I processed to pack up the RV.
OH, I remember now. They replaced the door, and you had to slam it to shut it. NOT ACCEPTABLE!
We have an appointment for 8am for them to fix it.
So i went closed it up as quickly as possible. And left at seven didn’t want to be late. No breakfast or coffee!
We didn’t wait long. Turns out the clerk who has been helping us thru all this back and forth has qùit. Sick son and ma. Oh help!
So he goes to explain, and we let them keep the car attached. It didn’t take long at all. We were back home by 10am.
We are not exactly sure why, but the front leg started to slip off its wood pieces, and thank God the truck was there to catch the RV. THAT MY FRIENDS WAS SO VERY SCARY. We finally figured it out what to do. Straightened out the wood holding the main front piece.
We did have other troubles, Ghost thru up in the back. Landed on a mat. I took up what I could with a paper towel. Covered the remaining stuff with a towel.
After I came home, I had to set the RV from the away stage, to we are back home stage.. It’s easy if you get into a roll. Put the coffee station up, bring out the rugs, and clean out the sink of any drying items. Bring out the floor covering the mat. Everything got put back out in place.
All of a sudden, it was dinner time. I made a pork tenderloin with rice and asparagus. It was good.
Then, I am starting to get anxious for our tours in October. I booked one,but I can’t seem to keep the internet on long enough to book another. It’s very frustrating.
Well it’s night again. I struggle with the tours, emails, messages and it’s time for bed. I enjoy reading a bit. But, lately we get Ninja Warrior on the TV. I think at one time my younger son might have been able to do it.
