Yesterday we were in Yemassee. SOUTH Carolina, and today we drove to Brunswick, Georgia
I am so tired that I forgot to write my blog for yesterday.
Yesterday we stayed in the same spot. I got up later, and we had French toast for breakfast. It was yummo.
The purpose of the day was to start packing so we wouldn’t have so much when we got home. Good idea!
He was busy draining the RV. On the inside, I took down the pantry. You have them at home and think of totally dismantling them to bring it home. Yes, I did that. I took it apart. Loaded boxes an̈d a bag. My back was killing me when I was done.
It took nearly all day. Going home is the worst to take a part of the RV to bring everything inside. Then, where the hell does all this stuff go?
Dinner was everything ì could take from the frig and cook. Get rid of it so there is less to bring inside. Salad with everything. Left over pasta with sauce and added sausage, Broccoli 2 crowns. I don’t remember going to bed. This is why this is two days.
Thursday, August 21, Brunswick Georgia
I was dead asleep when he woke me. He said I had time to exercise. This is a good thing since when we leave I don’t have time to exercise.
So I got up and did my exercises. We got ready for the day.. Before we left, we had bagels with avacado. I don’t know if I mentioned that I was growing two plants from avacado seeds, However, the bumping up and down divided the old one, and the other was drowned in the water. I’m not done. I will try when we get home.
When we were both done, we got it together and hit the road around 10 am. It is so familiar to see all the swamps and waters that were filled to encompass the trees. I should have taken pictures, but I didn’t.
Oh, this morning I saw a tiny green grasshopper on my tomato plant. So cute. I should have taken a picture but didn’t.
We finally got to our campsite. 100% level. I’ve been here before. We unhooked the RV and went to the Brunswick fish market where we buy our fish for the year. It’s caught and frozen right out of the water.
It is so fresh and wonderful to eat. I bought $268 worth of fish. It’s a lot but lasts us thru the year. Probably with some supplements during the year.
I can’t remember everything, but I got rainbow trout, cod, red snapper, flounder, shrimp, and a bunch more.
We left there and came back to the campground. I was worried if I could fit it all in the frig, But, I’m good and it was no issue.
For dinner, we had a frozen cauflower pizza. I had left over pasta and sausage, too. It was enough. We finished a bottle of red wine.
It’s sad to write that tomorrow may be our last blog for this trip. We may be home tomorrow or the next day.
Words fail how I feel about those who follow my blog. I only know #s, not anything else. This year was bad because another co. Took over frome the first one an̈d the method to get in was difficult. I know many said forget it. I’m so sorry from the bottom of my heart.
But, know in October I’m taking a cruise. OÇEAN crossing on Celelbrity APEX a fairly new ship. It’s, I think, 13 nights.
