It was difficult to pack. We usually bring this huge purple suitcase. But, we know it’s too big so we bought a mid size to replace it. The new One was mine the old one his. It was interesting cause we both had a suitcase to put on the plane and a carry on. I liked it because I loaded it up with whatever clothes were in my closet. But, I forgot my cruise clothes were in the spare bedroom closet. Oh well! Next time! What? Of course there will be another!
We got to the Airport. Needed help to get boarding passes and we were 1 hour early to obtain luggage tags.
We walked for an hour then came to a lady at the counter for our luggage tags.
Then we try TPS it’s a system to get thru searches and customs. It cost each of us about $70. But it got us right thru.
The first flight 2 hrs not bad. The flight from Philly we waited an 1.5hr. it was not bad we stopped for food and beer. We got on next plane. They gave us dinner and breakfast. It was airport food.
We got to London in about 6 hours. I didn’t sleep much. We found someone, a representative from OLV, who took our lugagge. But when we got off plane my suitcase was missing?
Turns out they asked for our boarding passes. I could only find the one to Philly. Panic sets in. Turns out the two were stuck together. We reported my luggage missing. We waited As she went to investigate! They came back with suitcase it was packed with front against a black suitcase. We forgot only the front was red rest is black!
We got on the van. It took a long ride to get to the hotel. Turns out it was next to London bridge. The other side of the tower of London. But we passed the eye wheel, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and other bldgs.
We got our room. Nice hotel old had boats and a palace from our window. We went back to the room and slept. I was so tired without sleep. We didn’t even have dinner.
