Vigo Spain

We are excited a private tour. Xoan is his name. We hire from tours by locals.

Have never had a bad experience. He picked us up and we drove to a small town outside of Vigo. It has turned industrial and is on hills.

It is raining all day. I bought a jacket and we used umbrellas.

He was so intelligent. The town was a bunch of squares. Some smaller than others. But each had their separate functions. Like, blacksmiths for animals, area for children to play. Sell produce, or restaurants where you sit outside. Then there was 2 compeating churches. Who was bigger or had more members. It was funny because the church want a good  one hired an outsider from Netherlands who could sculpt figures in cement. As good as he was, he made mistakes. Like a priest wearing glasses, or an elephant or a Dutch windmill on a church!

Interesting stories. Then we had lunch in this tiny restaurant. Maybe 7 tables? Really,?  We had stuffed mussels were good and shrimp in garlic sauce yummo!

We walked a bit more the streets connecting the squares were very narrow. Only one small car wide. Crazy.

Great day! We are wet with umbrellas my shoes are soaked. We rested and went upstairs to the restaurant for dinner. It was agonizing.  They were so slow. Not  enough workers for the crowds of people. The food was good but the slow speed made one not hungry. The show has the ship dancers perform. They were very good.

We talk about doing more but are run down when it’s over.

But, tomorrow we are at Porto another private tour.

Thanks for stopping by to read my blog.
