I got up and did my exercises. I had fruit and a piece of blueberry bread for breakfast as we were going to my friends for lunch!
We got ready I made sure I bought the creme puffs from the Amish bakery and the cookies for the doggies.
The ride was fine, some roads were redone, some new bridges and exit ramps. There was an awful accident on the north side, two smashed cars and 270 was shut down for clearance. The backup went on for miles and miles we couldn’t believe it. Sorry for the folks who got stuck.
We got to my friends home. It was soooooo great to see them. I really wish they would move to Florida near us. I miss them. We had a great time with them. We had lunch and we ordered pizza and salad. It was excellent pizza.
It was good to even see the doggies and the newly adapted one a miniature dashund. So low to the floor especially next to 2 Goldens. Sweet little thing.
When it was time for dessert we went to the kitchen and she bought me a happy birthday cake! How awesome is that! She felt bad my BD cruise was canceled, especially on a big number as mine!
We came back to the campground only before we left, they forced us to take home the cake and creme puffs! Who will eat these desserts , ok I will! So much for dieting!
Well tomorrow is another big day with the family. It will be good to see mom. My mother in law. Sweet lady she in her nineties and cooks, now she is inside thru virus time, but she plays cards and marjong and goes to the theatre she is on the go. My ideal.
