I was lazy but the kids licked me pawed at me to remind me it is 8:30am and the dad hasn’t gotten up so I better feed them! No, your dad feeds you! After the turmoil he got out of bed. But, I’m up. So exercise and get dressed eggs for breakfast. By the time we dress eat do errands it’s time to get the oil changed in glacier, oh that’s the name of the truck! What? Your car doesn’t have a name? Why you probably talk to it everyday!,,
We go to the service entrance but it has tires piled on either side of the car! I had to breathe in.. Now I know I’m not small but I had to breather in to get out. what does a larger person do? Not a good situation!
It went fast in what maybe a half hour we are done. The waiting room was pathetic, chairs old and torn. It was an embarrassment. A Chevy dealer.
El agreed to take me to the outlets. Last time we went they were barely open. This time a lot more stores were open but still what some 20 stores were out. Wilson’s leather was dumping their stuff, oooh the down coats were exquisite and cheap. Ok so what am I going to do with a down coat in Fl?.
But, it wasn’t a total loss. I got a giant cookbook from the food network on TV. I got a pretty shirt from Talbots, I had to think of my friend who loves their clothes and knows a bargain! I got a shirt from Eddie Bauer cheap for what it was long sleeve. Originally $59.00 I got it for $11! Good deal!
We got back and put the things away. Oh in the bath store, I went to get more hand sanitizers for my purse. They didn’t sell the old model. So they made a deal and I gave them the old one got a $12.00 one in exchange and bought new hand sanitizers to fit the new one. It’s a bear so cute.
I miss the ones who went out like Harry and David, kitchen store, jockey, some jewelry store. But, this is the times of change.
Dinner, we had to switch to rum and coke, the bourbon and gin are gone. But still yummo! Dinner was left overs we are eating away for the next 3 days. I heated up steaks left from yesterday, pasta and butternut squash with kale, and stuffed clams. It’s all good! Add some wine and yummo!
We watched the end of the art auction, didn’t buy anything, but two days to go. Never say never!
Oh, I can’t believe the amount of comments from the picture of El and I that I sent out to everyone I know. It was so great made me feel good. Thanks to all.
Tomorrow’s another day, we are visiting my great friends in MD. Looking forward to it. I must know them for over 40 years. You have friends that go back in time? Awesome isn’t it!
