It seems like forever since I wrote my blog but it’s a new season and trip. I look forward to it. We have been packing for two days. What do you pack for over 3 months? And you are limited to what fits! Well I did get it all in. But, if you ask me to find something that’s another story altogether!
We had our bagel and smoked salmon for breakfast and packed all the things for last minute to put in. Of course there will be something we forgot. I even made a list this time. We will see how that goes!
We had to prod Stormy, our black cat from behind the couch. He is such a scaredy-cat! Poor thing! They did fine and neither one got sick!
We had filled the truck with gas but we were a bit concerned if we would get stuck, given the gas shortage report. However, we went to flying J and didn’t have to wait and filled up. So far so good. I got a large coffee, they have good coffee and I have my flying j mug so it’s .99cents! Of course, I tried to drink it and didn’t put the top on tight, yup coffee down my shirt on my pants and even got stormy on my lap! Way to go!
We went in and out of rain, fog, drizzle, and some sun. We drove for 4.5 hours. I read my book, Katherine Parr the Sixth wife of Henry the VIII. I use to know all this by heart. Yup history major in college. No I didn’t end there, I added high school education. When I graduated there we no jobs. But health education was added to high school. I got a job with FDA and went to graduated school and got a MA in public health. By the time I could get a job I was making more at FDA, and that’s my story.
Okay I don’t know why I went off on that tangent. I give you credit if you read thru that stuff! Any how we made it to our campground. It is packed! wow! But we reserved a spot so we got in. We have been here before. It was late and I was tired. I set up the inside and he does the outside. I had to pull out my memory bank how to open and set up! I think I got it. You have to set up the litter. Make sure the holes are all closed so the cat can’t hide! Then take everything off the chairs and couch and remember where they go. Set up the kitchen stuff.
Then we had dinner just ravioli and sauce with green beans. Easy. Not ready to get cooking much.

Tomorrow we are staying put just relaxing find where things are get use to living on the go again. Until tomorrow have a good evening.
