An exciting day today I am meeting my College Roomate and her husband to go wine tasting around Kueka Lake in NY, one of the finger lakes. We went to SUNY at Genesseo.
We met up at the Culinary Institue, what a place! So wish this was near me in Fl. I would take classes for sure! It was very classy. I have some pics.
It was grand to see her. She hasn’t changed since what 40 years! I’m envious! And it is so amazing how you don’t see a really good friend in years and you just start talking as if it was yesterday! It is a blessing for me to have some friends like that it is really true friendship I think!
Then I saw her husband, she knew him way back in high school and stayed with him for 43 years of marriage. I love him too. He paled around with us in college. They named their son after me Andrew, I am so proud of that its amazing!
That is the 2nd child I have named after me. I have friends in Near New Orleans who named their daughter, Andrea! It is such an honor!
We went wine tasting in NY. I think we stopped at 3 places, that I Remember. I know we bought some wine at Bully hill, Lime Berry, and Dr Frank. We went to lunch at Bully Hill, we sat outside overlooking the water. It was a great time and ended too quickly.
In the end we got some of their wine, I tried to leave it for them at the campground, she refused and said think of us when we drink it! And so we shall.
