Okay so I am done sleeping in a RV parking lot! The banging and strangers have made my cats nuts! Both hide under a lounge chair together! Imagine my white cat even getting under one of those chairs! I looked frantically for him!
I’m tired I was woken today at 5:30am common who is awake at that hour? It’s nearly dark outside! I feed the cats but they are so nervous they don’t eat! Imagine my big white cat NOT eating!
So we leave the RV to the workers and head out with out cats in the car! We go to this local place Raymond’s for breakfast. It is still cool outside so the cats are fine.
Imagine an old time place on the side of the road, scarey looking, wall falling down, that’s the place for breakfast. We walk in and there’s a table several feet long maybe 5 ft filled with old men chatting away. We thought maybe RV workers?. the waitress knows each by name. They are all farmers! Yep, there are plenty and they keep going and going, corn mostly. So omelette huge with tons of ham and cheese. El gets some meat special filled with bacon, sausage, ham, potatoes wow!
So we decide to go for a ride to amishville area. The horse and buggy are so cute! They come in double, to 4 seats, covered or not. Lots of bicycles. It seems the farms are now filled with horses, some cows, but horses is the thing.
We stop at the forks grocery where they shop. The kids, especially the boys in their little cotton overalls are so adorable, ya Giirls too in their little dresses. I wanted to take pictures, but it is not aloud.
The grocery is weird cause everything is sold in bulk from the box. Very bare bones, more so then SAMs. Everything is short dated or past the date. They love, hot dogs, noodles, sugar liquid pie filling, bacon. 5lbs for $5.00! Cheese I got a hunk of Swiss for $3.00.
Then we drove around and started back to our RV. NOT DONE! Seriously! My cats are nuts not eating and I am tired of microwaved veggie burgers for dinner.
El gets them to say tomorrow it will be done! Have we heard that before?? I do have to say everyone from the waitress to the workers have been so friendly and nice! That’s the plus! In fact I ask the head man if we are being a pain, he sad not so far! He must put up with a lot!
Luckily we have tv and last night was an awesome country music fest which was from 8pm to 11 pm and I loved it!! Want to by the CD!
