Now I’m in South Dakota! That in itself is a task! The breakfast is to order and I had an omelette with olives and salsa and bacon! Yep ate half! My mouth began to heat! We went to Custer state Park. We drive the wilderness trail. Did we see animals? Of course! Bison, donkey, prairie dogs, donkeys! And prang horn whose horns turn inwards!
I have to add the donkeys which are halarious! They followed a woman who had a carrot! They stuck their nose inside a mans trunk, they came up to a mans window.
The Bison blocked the road, but I got pictures!
Then we went to a Crazy horse monument. Something started years ago, the sculpture died and the family has taken over. The thing is immense and may never be finished, not in my life time. I have some pics.
Then we went to mt Rushmore! Really? What a disappointment. Ok so you have seen pictures of washington, Jefferson, Franklin, and Lincoln on the Mtn.
Well, that’s exactly what it looks like. I’m sorry I didn’t get the hype over it. A great feat to do.
We stopped for an oatmeal stout large can $5.00 now that’s exciting.
We went to dinner at a restaurant Minerva. We ordered filet mignon yummo! Great meat. We had a glass of wine $5.00….it is a great price to drink here. $5.00. A deal!
We are back at the room, full and tired
