The ride down to Miami from Palm Cost took about 4 hours. The traffic around Miami was horrible cars diving in front of you, brakes slamming in front of you, even cars getting off on the right from the left lane. But, we made it. the place we stay got re-modeled and looked so nice inside. Christmas tree, Chanukah bush.
We were suppose to eat with my brother but my sister-in – law got sick. Too bad haven’t seen him in over a year. He suggested we get together on the way back. As a Hilton honors members, how many nights are you staying if you arrive at 7am stay the nite and leave the next morning. It’s called an early arrival right? I was charged for 2 nights but after discussion it was reduced to one. Besides they normally charge 30,000 and because it’s holiday I am spending 50000!
We had dinner at a Greek deli, we thought it was a different place. We went in anyway it was a deli with a few tables. It was delicious. I had spinach pie, hummus and Greek salad. El had lamb chops. So good.
We are up at 5:30am to make to bus to the plane at 9:00. We had breakfast at a new Cuban restaurant cafe con leche very good! No problem getting to plane especially since El got pre approved boarding as well as me. However, the plane was full. We get ready to leave and the plane was too heavy and There is needed luggage redistribution…one hour. We missed our take off time so we rounded the airport on the ground 1 hour. We landed at 2:30 LA time, ship leaves at 4.
We find the princess rep. We are her last couple. She order an enormous bus for 4 people. We got to the ship 3:30 they didn’t leave us! Yeah! We checked in, ran to our room, unpacked what we could and went to fire drill. We had to bring life vests. One man got it on backwards..really?.. we finished unpacking. Phoned our friends and found them. We went to dinner together, so good to see them. Saw a comedian and dancers.
I was so tired. On the plane, I saw the movie light between oceans it followed the story.
