We woke early to have breakfast in the dining room. It was nice, smoked salmon, eggs with Swiss and mushrooms and focaccia bread.
We then left early in case we got stuck at immigration which we didn’t and therefore waited 30 mins and then our guide came late which was another 30 mins. Not a good start. Then the car was small and since my friend was small she sat in the middle and the seat was on a hump. Not a good start.
However, we didn’t ride for very long anywhere. Then the guys traded the middle seat off and on so we survived the day.
We went to the top of a mountain and saw the city. It is pretty spread out. We then drove to the botanical gardens which were beautiful and free! Nice place to walk. Gardens everywhere.
Then we went to the river and took a walk. The city built 2 huge pools and a beach over looking the river. A huge play ground for kids. All free. Parks seem to be everywhere. It is such an eco friendly city. We stopped to get some food. Dessert was amazing warm brownie with vanilla bean ice cream, yummo!
We then went to the city downtown. We went in the arcade, fancy smancy stores. My friend bought a bracelet, very pretty with opals.
We then went to city hall. It must be old the marble stairs! We walked around the museum.
Then we drove around China town and took a walk. Then drove around to see the big homes before going back to the ship. We were all beat. A lot of walking today. Pretty city.
We joined for dinner, the lamb chops were very good this time. The halarious woman canceled due to illness so we so another comedian who was ok.
This was our last stop before getting off. Tomorrow at sea to pack then get off at Sidney to the airport.
