Woke up and it was in the 40s last night! That’s worse than winter time! I showered no time for exercise. My friend who knew me when I was single, crap that’s over 40 years ago, came to visit to have lunch in Gettysburg. We met in 1974 at work and have been good friends since! It’s like when you haven’t seen them in years and when you get together it was like yesterday! I hope everyone has a friend like that, it’s so amazing.
Anyhow we went to Mason distillery. I try to find one we haven’t gone to before. They make their own liquor so I tried a liquor flight. She had a drink, I’m not driving😁
we had a great visit and lunch. When it’s over I wish we weren’t so far apart.
When I came back to the RV we went thru the battlefield and Gettysburg.
My husbands bro and wife had come to visit! How nice they brought fresh fruit and wine. Yup, I can do that so I joined in the festivities. We talked about our cruise in Oct to Greek islands. They are coming with us! I thought they might stay for dinner but they went home. We will see them Sunday breakfast at moms.
I had some soup for dinner. My neck was hurting and I couldn’t shake it. Normally if I rest my head it goes but this time it didn’t. It took a lot longer to go away. It’s scary when that happens.
So I read some of my new cooking for two cookbook and found some chicken and pork chop recipes that are doable. Ah, I love this stuff!
I’m zoning out on a food channel, the TV selection is not the same as home! I will read my book.
