What a night nothing like having banging rain right above your head and a scared black cat who constantly gentle pushes you to pet him. It’s really cute, and annoying at the same time.
I’m so tired but up and exercise! And yep I lost 1lb!!!! Yippee! It’s no fun to pack up in the rain. Luckily, el knew of the rain and packed most of the stuff last night when we got back.
I put away the inside that’s my job. We get in truck, sanibel is hooked up and off we go. BUT..THERE IS ALWAYS A BUT! The directions are ridiculous, turn here turn there second exit. However you pull up mapquest and it’s the same darn road going straight, bending, moving around a circle why can’t the directions be follow rt342 east?
Too bad it was raining it was a pretty ride. Lots of barns, corn, old brick houses. We get to the place and find a spot. Turns out it’s across from a lake. It also has a couple dozen ducks going back and forth which my cats enjoy!
We had moms homemade tomato soup and salad for dinner. It was very good.
I started a new book the shadow writer. It’s an interesting fiction so far. I’m beat hope

it doesn’t rain tonight.
