July 10, schoodic pt Arcadia national campground Maine

Up dress exercise breakfast what to do? It’s beautiful outside. We don’t see trailers next door. The grounds here are so pretty.

It’s almost 2pm before we get going. We head out to Mardens store. It’s got a little of everything and dirt cheap prices. But, you need time to sort thru the stuff. It’s fun actually since the stuff are only displayed by dumping the same category. Like kitchen there is an aisle of all sorts of kitchen gadgets thrown together. Or camping shelves all dumped with camping stuff. You get the idea.

For example, I got a huge container of unsalted cashews for $4,99. And a designer shirt $4.99. It’s really crazy. But fun.

Then we went to Walmart. So somethings you don’t have a choice, like diet juice, toilet paper, propel water.

On the way back we stopped at a farm stand and huge nursery. We got a lettuce that was home grown enormous! Huge peppers, onions, snap peas. Love buying from stands,

On the way back we decide to drive down to the actual schoodic point! Oh my the scenery is so pretty. The water both bay and ocean is so pretty against the pine trees. At one point we got out to read the signs it was freezing out…had to be in the 60s. Ok in Florida that’s freezing!

We took a walk around the loop and all the sites are very nice some are a half moon drive thru which are very nice.

We stopped at Lob stop a store which sells lobstas! They don’t use the er at the end!

There was a tank full of lobsters. But, we had taken a steak out already, I couldn’t leave with nothing so I got lobster chowda. Ooh. Yummo! It was so delicious! I will eat lobster!

It’s late again where does the day go by!

Tomorrow is my oldest sons BD!
