Wake up exercise and breakfast! Happy birthday to my son! He is 37! Oh my gosh I am feeling very old ! That seems so long ago!
It’s cold and grey outside. We can’t tell if it’s going to rain or not today. I read my new cookbook thru till the dinner recipes. The Organic Heart. El is becoming fanatic with organic food. I believe this book has an avocado everyday! It seems to be in all recipes. I like avocado but everyday?
Still lousy outside so I read my book which is ok. If you can’t stand French words or understanding art paintings it’s not for you. But I am enjoying it, after all, my home is a gallery, so my son says, and I took French in school. I remember Oui, bonjour, voila!
Well we were getting antsy it’s so beautiful here! We decide to take a walk. Really I go out in my shorts! Ha I ran back in put on jeans and a heavy sweatshirt! It’s in the low 60s and cloudy.
We walk the loop of campsites. In this park it’s a real walk. Reminded me of our campground walks when my kids were young. There isn’t a bad campsite in this loop. You have to realize we are so big we have to camp in private grounds and line up with RV buses. The sites here are all long, wide and with plenty of trees in between. I love it. A higher temperature would be better.
We met another lady camping and she opened the RV door to let her cat out! I am astonished people can do that with the cat not running away! We ask her how, she says he just walks the perimeter of the campground site. Really?
Lots of dogs here, we met a dog that looks like a baby chocolate lab. He called it some type of spaniel with short legs. I started to reminisce about our golden. He used to walk ahead of us and hold his own leash! Ah those were the days.
We came back and didn’t realize how long we were gone it was dinner time! So we had fish asparagus and sweet potato. And of course Chardonnay!
