Well it wasn’t much of a day. I did receipts against credit card bills, ugh! I tried to do my checkbook but the site was down😤. We are still trying to get a date set up to repair our RV. The insurance and repair place don’t talk! Argh!
We remembered I wanted to go to the post office cause I have things to send to my son in Wa. And his girlfriends birthday is coming up. Those prepaid boxes seem to work for me. So we took another way to get there.
It was truly the back way to town. We went down a dirt road with a bridge clearly stating no RVs. It turned this way and that and passing a truck I thought we were done going over the edge of the mtn!
Then the scenery was really pretty, corn and cows too!
We went thru town and noticed the 5 &10 cent store really? Howe old is that?
Then we saw some old pretty brick homes. In town we saw huge outside stairs going to apts. image in the snow really?
Then one more picture, I have been trying to get this picture of this house that has wood logs piled half way up his home on the side? Is that enough?
I will try to get a better shot😩 it’s crazy to even think about it.
Well dinner was easy salad with some wild canned salmon. I have to loose the half # from yesterday’s dinner!
Time to read and relax! I think of all the folks that are going to be effected by this hurricane. We have no tv so we follow emails on the internet! Hope all my friends are safe!
One year we went to the school on Belle Terre, Buddy Taylor Middle School! They had cots for everyone, school food, like chicken nuggets, and they had a huge screen TV in the lunch room. Be safe.
