Sept 6, Elkhart, Indiana

It’s dreary outside! Drizzling! The woman who is suppose to f/u on the rear of our RV still hasn’t gotten in touch. It Has been 3 days! El had enough!

He called another RV repair shop and we brought it over to him. Oddly enough he was the guy who fixed over 41 items on our RV when it was under warranty when we first got it and stuff everywhere was going wrong! Maybe 5 years ago! He remembered the trailer and El! That’s Crazy! Anyhow at least we will get the slide and any thing else we need done on Monday! That’s a relief!

I think after that we may head home and the place can do what ever with replacing the back, when we will come back in the spring!

We brought the trailer back to the camp site. We decided to go to a store dented cans, really ? operated by Amish folks!

It was a barn and sold things for such cheap prices. Italian pasta .79 everything was cheap or sold in huge portions. Like cheese10lbs!, to feed who?..

We passed farms being water by gigantic machines

Of course the fields are huge but so are the silos

In fact this one was so big it smelled like oatmeal going by!

We went to a grocery store Martins. A bit like Publix except for the liquor dept was enormous! The flavors of bourbon and the vodkas, it has gotten out of control! Well of course we got something! In addition to wine and local beers!😁

For dinner we got already breaded chicken breasts which were delicious and I added pease and rice. We have TV yeah! But, of course the bedroom One crapped out. Lucky we have a spare TV that’s suppose to go outside and we never installed it. So El put that on the wall.

The bad news is the slide problem is very serious. While this man, can work a bandaid repair. He said in a couple of years it will probably come back. It will cost thousands to fix! Like I tell my kids, one day at a time!

Well I will read and go to bed. I’m reading the Rumor.

A dented can store! Unique. but it saves money for customers and it would be a shame to have them all wasted otherwise.

You are coming home to green, calm area. Very, very little damage except fallen limbs. Picking them up is so much easier than dealing after a flood. But the poor people in the Bahamas.

Our Village Center looks terrible with all the repairs going on. Can’t park close — have to walk around to south entrance. The restaurant sent a note encouraging people to come because the help is losing money on tips, etc. We went with another couple last night but it was mostly empty. Good food though:)
