I was woken at 6:30am, before the sun.  I am not good before the sun.  But I am aware it’s a big day. I do my morning stuff, no exercise too early.  I’m told to pack up. So it’s not easy to get all the pantry and the refrigerator including frozen stuff into bags. Additionally, all your bathroom stuff, and for me my jewelry..stop laughing!😂.

we finally got the food, including the wine and bourbon!  Our cloths have been in big huge camping bags so that’s done. el loads the inside of the truck. We have breakfast. I can’t find my masks! I have seen them everyday and can’t remember where! Els upset and my stomachs turns.

We get in the truck and head over to Dans, Our RV mechanic, he is a wizard regarding our RV.   I get in truck, damn it’s FREEZING my butts ice cold! Ok it’s 34 outside!  I should have taken a picture the sky was beautiful, a hazy orange with a mist thru the trees with no leaves. I wish I could share that view.

we get the RV there,  Dan is in shorts!,,,, he keeps the work area warm! Sure. He tells us it could take 70 hours to fix ….that’s 2 weeks! Really!  I will be broke at the end😨 He tells us go home and come back when he is done.  Yup, 1000 miles back then up again when he is done and hotels each way….no we don’t think so.

so he explains to El what has to be done while I remove the bedding as directed. He walks in and touches the out button and the bed goes out! What????? He is a wizard. He knows how to over ride the brain! Great can he teach us?  No, there is something wrong that needs fixing. Ya gotta believe him, he is that good!

We leave our Sanibel RV there and hope for the best!  We find our way to Martins. The best grocery store ever. I don’t have a mask. So we must fly thru. I get smoked fish, salmon, and cream  bourbon Yummo!,,,, Not many people very few with masks.

We try to get diesel gas, one station we couldn’t find the diesel, one station had a non working pump, finally the third had some. El meets a trucker from Port Orange and his girlfriend lives in Palm Coast! Small world!

We get to our hotel. El goes to pay while I put on gloves and grab the trolley for luggage.  It took two loads to get it all up to our room. Place is nice enough. It has a full kitchen, king bed, desk, nice TV. It has a loan dept. has kitchen appliances, I borrowed a keurig, the room has a pot, and a waffle iron! Yummo breakfast!

I start putting things away! I swear I brought my masks. I remember seeing them daily. I start to put my magazine bag away and my masks are inside, I feel old! I saw them everyday and didn’t remember where!😨 But, I will feel better if we go out.

I sit down on the bed and pass out! What do you expect I was up way too early!  El took a shower. The shower stuff are green and have alloe moisturizer. Nice touch!

i make dinner lemon flounder, asparagus and couscous with kale. Pretty good! Once you start cooking fresh fish it’s hard to use anything else.

well we will hang out watch TV do computer whatever. We saw two Canadian geese fly by wow I forgot how loud there honking is!

stay safe and healthy, I disinfected every handle and counter and El went over what I did. You can’t be slack with this stuff. We wore gloves getting into our room.

oh we passed these tiny houses, See below,  our bathrooms are bigger, some are run down. Different life. There is still no traffic, malls are empty, restaurants have take out windows or nothing. It’s still pretty weird out there.
