Day one of staying put in a hotel room. I woke up did my exercises, took a shower. By the way the shower gel was so nice foamy and moisturizIng, and it’s green, no crap in it. It’s Dr Watson. I will look for it!
We went to the front desk and asked for a toaster oven. Lucky they had foil, because it had no baking tray. We also got bold coffee from downstairs, the crap they give for the pot is so weak.
We don’t have a measuring cup. We have to go to the RV and get it. Also my coffee pucks. But, we had breakfast eggs, toast, and avocado. Now what????
Our room backs to the woods with a little pond. We keep looking outside and we have company. Red Robin’s I swear one has followed us the whole way! We saw a beautiful blue jay, I remember those around when I was a kid, and a cardinal. Oh and honking geese. Then we have 2 ducks one colorful one with a pretty green face and a brown one. Then we saw this big fat furry thing running in and out of the woods with a furry black tail. We think it’s a ground hog. Of course we saw a small black turtle, nothing like the giant green ones at home! So you can see how we are amusing ourselves. Oh I almost forgot the squirrel with a red tail!

Then I tried reading house beautiful magazine. I didn’t order it so I don’t know why I get it. I’m not into it how rooms are decorated I wouldn’t pick any one they had for my rooms! Back to the window!
Now I have 2 burners, a small sauce pan and small fry pan, oh vey!, okay so in the sauce pan I boil some pasta. Then in the fry pan I brown some mushrooms and garlic. I put frozen peas in the microwave. I put the peas in with the mushrooms and garlic, mix it, and put it in a bowl where it just fits. I take Italian sausage out of the skin and brown. Add, pasta, pea mix, add Parmesan cheese, pesto, then spinach on top and mix it in to wilt. Ah voila! my dish is ready for dinner! Wine please!,, but of course!
we eat and listen to the yapping about the virus it’s sad. Oddly enough my son in WA is working. He is cooking food for take out! They have a huge wall of various bottled beer so his girlfriend handles the front for take out. One of the lucky ones to have income.
well I enjoy thinking about my day and writing my blog. I started when my son suggested write it on line instead of my diary. Then he suggested share it, I didn’t think anyone would read it but to my surprise I have had off and on 85 folks and 2 from other countries. Hey if people enjoy that’s a good thing. 😁
