April 17 Mishawaka Indiana

I awoke and went to the window, at 4:30am there was nothing. Bathroom and go back to sleep. I wake at around 9am. Wow it was a Christmas picture of snow!

C5EFE10D-B947-4C7B-A412-D5C2FA881C46It was so pretty big flakes falling!  Cold no doubt!  I did my exercises and got dressed. We had cereal for breakfast.
I am a bit unhappy as our RV will not be done today. If they work, hopefully Monday. I want to go home.

i research a pull up bar again but no luck.  But, I searched the Roomba and pick one and send it to my son.  I hope he likes it. I am sad I am not going to visit in May.

we decide to have some lentil soup, fits a snowy day in April! Even our snack food is getting low.
I look for a recipe for the chicken thighs. I worked so hard to remove all the fat. I can’t stand the fat or blood or veins left on the meat. I figure it out.

i decided to cut it in pieces and keep half for another night, but cook it so I have cooked chicken for a salad or something for dinner.

i make Chick a LaLa Latish! It was delicious! But it was my own sauce and I didn’t write it down!

Yummo!  So we enjoyed dinner. Even had a bourbon cocktail! After dinner I went and relaxed and watched tv. Then I read my book for a while.
Then turned on 20/20 about sigfield and Roy and when he was attacked by his white tiger with blue eye.  Just gorgeous.

oh my poor Ghost, my white cat with blue eyes, is not happy. He is not eating much and loosing weight. My son thinks he is depressed and misses us.😱😨😢

I want to go home!  El is going to try to come home a day sooner depending on the day we can leave.  It is starting to be too much.

stay safe and healthy

  1. You are such an adventurous and creative cook!

I love living here in Palm Coast — but I do miss those quiet, peaceful mornings looking out at newly fallen snow. It was always breathtakingly beautiful. But then it turns into slush, and sloppy driving, and scraping windows, and shoveling, and wearing all those layers — don’t miss any of those things.

Hope your RV is ready soon.
