I laughed when I wrote day two because I bet as the days move on I will get the number wrong! So to start, I forgot to add something to yesterday. The CORONA TRAFFIC LINE! Impressive indeed cars were lined up from the weight station to the rest stop at a minimum coming south 95 into FL with cops every so often! Yes, Florida was testing folks coming into Florida by car! Truckers were aloud to bypass. It was a wow to see! Let’s all hope who are leaving that it’s gone before we come home! I can’t imagine all the VT men waiting in that line! Hahaha
Today was rainy all day! We were in the truck like 6 hours! We did take stops here and there for gas . I went to the bathroom once in the rest stop. I had gloves and mask on. But, try to go to the bathroom with a mask on and gloves on! I got my glove stuck in my zipper! It’s funny now, but at the time my heart skipped a beat! I got their coffee, but you need to use their cups and pour it into your cup an ordeal!
I spent the time finishing my book. It was okay. But, the whole story was at the end. I did a sudoku puzzle. I am up to hard ones now! I tried a NyTimes crossword puzzle. Ok I stink at that, I had to look up 75% of the answers! I’m no genius!
We finally got to our camp site. The temperature was freezing outside! Our first stop it was sticky like humid Florida. But, as we got further north and the constant rain it was so cold we turned our fireplace on!
Oh, I forgot to add at the campsite we just left there was a camper that you never see. You had to have heard of “airstream”. The ones that are metal inside and out with no slide outs! We were parked next to one that probably goes for ready? 1 million dollars! Yup with a motor Really?

Now my friends have heard me call our RV our home away from home, it has a residential refrigerator, pantry, king bed, desk fireplace! BUT this one takes the cake! Now that’s a house on wheels!

Time for dinner I took out ground lamb! I made Greek plate a la Andrea! It turned out great! I surprised myself! I added all things Greek! Like hummus, tomatoes, cukes, Feta, pita bread, and spices onion, garlic ginger turmeric etc! Yummo!

Well tomorrow is our last long drive. Unfortunately, it’s gonna rain off and on. It’s exhausting driving the RV in the rain in between all the huge truckers. But, we will be in Gettysburg. We have a camping timeshare there.
As always, thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your summer! It was a pain getting the pictures in the blog. I think I must go thru this frustration every time I start up the blog on a new journey! I must be getting older😱 luv yas! 😁
