Hershey PA. June 4

I wake up normal time because my cats want to eat. That would be around 8:30ish in the am.  Since El feeds them I can lie around a few minutes.  More predictions of storms. I do my exercises no weights today.

We decide on 1/2 bagel with smoked salmon and white fish, with onion, tomato, cheese and avocado!  I put that together while El does a fruit platter. Yummo!

We decide to finally take a walk around the place It is rather large but I must walk.  So we head out along the paths, pretty pool, tennis courts, playground, miniature golf. Pretty nice!  We look at the trailers and El has a comment for each one.  Then we go up a hill and on the way down we run into a man who owns a pretty cabin.  Oh no, he knows all the camp grounds as El and has been to each and has the same complaints and OMG! I’m stuck listening to this back and forth I could scream!  But, I stand , sweat, and smile!  Such a good wifey!

W e saw a gaggle of Canadian geese! They are pretty but are so dirty, they crap everywhere.

The grounds are pretty with walkways and pretty trees. I love the red maple trees. We had a big one in MD and the ones who purchased the house took ALL the landscaping out! I nearly died when I saw it.

When we came back we settled in and had some lentil soup. It was my lunch. I am trying to watch my weight. I tried to play with my cat but he fell asleep on the desk by the window so cute!

The weather on the TV kept interrupting with threats of tornados and severe thunderstorms. I get nervous so I’m sitting with a map for quite a while.  Sky is getting dark but the worst predictions are above us.

I decide to make dinner. We had leftover ham so I used it with pasta and cauliflower with mushrooms and a milk based sauce. I made edamame on the side but forgot they were still in the shell.  It was an ok dinner.

We clean up and settle down and the sky starts getting black again.  We get the TV weather station more doom predicted!  I try not to think about it but have you ever been in an RV with pounding rain?… it is freakin LouD! You can’t hear the TV or anyone else!  Well it started with thunder and pouring rain. I felt bad for the cats they don’t like it either.

El had to feed our black cat in his bunker, under the blanket at the end of the bed it hits the floor!  He hides there.

Well it’s almost 10pm.  I can’t hear the TV and I’m tired.  I guess I will go up and read some of my book. It’s easy so far.

Be safe out there!
