Another long day of driving but a bit shorter than yesterday. We had breakfast packed up and moved on out.
Some of the road is rural and you see the smallest of houses.
Then you drive and the farms go on forever. You can’t tell one from the other. I didn’t think of Ohio as farm country but
Then we road some more and I found a stone house they always seem pretty to me
The cats were much better today. We still did not feed them until we got settle in our campsite. When we got to town I saw this church window that was pretty.
We have been here many times to this campground. Unfortunately it was not our plan to come. I have to admit we are lucky to get any spot. But, it is not along the River. To bad because it’s fun to see everyone canoeing and tubing and drinking it’s crazy. Oh well we can walk down and watch, maybe.
I like the road into the park it is all twisty and green like a forest almost.
We were finally all settle in. We got here in plenty of time, But, time went so fast it was time to prepare dinner. I made salmon with corn on the cob…they were huge and delicious and I added yellow string beans!
Anyhow, we will be settled in for I think 10 days. It is easier to walk this campground, it doesn’t have the big hills of the other campgrounds so far.
I read my book in the drive over here. I read a magazine and cut out a few recipes which I put in my folders. After dinner we decided to take a walk. It is not packed but wait till Friday it will be nuts.
There seems to be a lot of little RVs here. I guess a lot of older folks don’t come down the river. We are noticing a little back door on some of these newer small RVs. We will have to check it out at the next RV show usually in January. It is rather small and seems to be where maybe there are bunk beds. But, clearly a normal weight person doesn’t look like they would fit? Weird.
I guess I am going to go upstairs to read. We do not have TV. This is going to be very strange for a couple of days. But, like everything else we will get thru it!
