Up at 6am. I am not happy to wake when it’s dark and cold! Went down to 29! Do you know that 70 yr old blood begins to freeze at that temperature! I was lucky cause a big white cat cuddled with me most of the night!
I had oatmeal with fruit for breakfast and loaded the cats put everything away closed the slides and we are off for another long ride!
The campground has really nice landscaping
We started driving and when we woke El mentioned a very think fog when the sun came up. Well when we left around 8am we ran into fog. Weird stuff
Lucky for us it wasn’t bad. However, lower areas were blank couldn’t see them.
We drove on forever the cats would not settle down for 2 hours we heard ma,meow, mo, me all kinds of cat language.
The scenery thru the mtns was beautiful. We drove thru Kentucky. Boy did I want to stop at all the distilleries. We did it one year it was so much fun! But we drove thru Louisville, funny how they pronounce it, no is. Louville .
We also didn’t see any horses. Isn’t this where the Kentucky Derby is located. Run with horses?
Back to the pretty mtns.
I have so many pictures it’s hard to pick which one to add. Its hard to capture the total scenery in a picture.
I don’t know what I did all day. I did a challenger sudoku! Took a while but I conquered it! I looked at the trees and mountains. We did stop for lunch. I made sandwiches out of the leftover pork from last night.
We got to Indiana about 5pm. We made bloody Mary’s.
I was going to make pizza for dinner, but we haven’t had eggs in a while so El made scrambled eggs with the kitchen sink…yummo! Then add some salsa! Works for me.
I’m really tired. Tomorrow we bring the trailer to the mechanic.
Oh I forgt😱 we had an accident with a wood post when we left. The rear side has lost its dump tube and we have a yellow crease across the panel. Things happen for a reason! We are going to the mechanic tomorrow….how convenient!
