We get up eat a boring breakfast cottage cheese and fruit. So what’s on todays agenda. Laundry in town. This man owns a huge laundromat with the hugest machines. So we get the sheets off the bed. Oh you have no idea what that means! He has to pull this gigantic heavy mattress slide it down the wood holding it so I can climb above the mattress and take the sheets off then climb back on to shove the clean sheets under the mattress so he can slide it back in place. Whew!
I had a bad night. I kept coughing up yuck in my throat! My Dr. says it’s allergies! My stomachs is not working either. I’m a bit worried about it. I take this powder in juice which helps but as soon as I stop it’s gets bad again. I dread getting back to Mayo on this issue so aside from mentioning it in my blog I will try to forget it! Even though it’s not possible. I don’t want to go thru another major medical thing!
We go to do laundry we are not sure what to use. He has these small May tags. He tells us those are for old ladies who come in with a few pieces. There was no way I will use them. I take it as a compliment I’m not an old lady!
We manage to get everything washed. The dryer was another story. Huge dryers 25 cents for 6 minutes! It took forever and the towels were still damp when we were done.
We then drove to Aldi, a little old store. But we know what’s there and get what we need. We passed all these little homes so sweet. I tried to get a picture but we are moving to fast. There is a beautiful stone house for sale. I can’t imagine living on the main drag.
We got back put away the groceries, hang the damp laundry, put away the rest. Decide what’s for dinner. I pick pork tenderloin medallions with peppers. It was very good.
I’m tired and ready for bed and read until I sleep. Hopefully tonight is better. Hope you have a good evening!
