OOPS! I forgot to write yesterday’s blog! It was a pretty good day, that came and went fast. I woke and dressed and had breakfast. What now? Well we forgot to get the litter for the kids. We took a ride to petsmart. A chore we must take care of today. it took forever to get it. We tried the on line order and pickup.
On the ride I love to look at the big old homes of red brick. Or the homes with round walls or pointy roofs.
This place is massive and the fields of corn are never ending. In fact the corn when we first came was a bare inch above ground and now everywhere it is taller than the truck!
We then stopped at a hardware store for a abrasive sponge.
By the time we got back it’s dinner time. I made a farro and chicken salad. Then we watched tv and went to sleep.

I got up and did my exercises. When I tried to do them I couldn’t do them all. It matters if you wait too long. Ugh!
I took a shower I was overheated from my exercises. It’s a grey day all clouds. We decided doing laundry is a good idea. It was crowded! Luckily we got a machine. Lots of folks had the same idea.
The day is done by the time you fold it get home put it away. I had a Bloody Mary to chill. Then made a cauliflower stew for dinner.
Then I started reading a new book. Didn’t like the last one much.
Tried to watch tv but the choices were religion, golf, news, some other boring stuff. I started cutting recipes from my bag. Got a lot done.
I’m going to bed to read. Thanks for stopping by. It’s hard to believe half the summer is gone already. I hope we get nice weather at some point.
We left Florida so we didn’t bake and sweat in humid hot days. So far it feels like we didn’t have to leave. But then Sanibel would be unhappy! (Our RV) Don’t you have a name for your car?
