I woke up and did my exercises it’s been a while and I put back the lb I lost😩. It’s not fair he can eat all he wants and doesn’t gain!
Today was so fun we were in the heart of Amish town. Wow! We had breakfast and set off to County Forks store, Amish grocery. But, we forgot the Amish don’t work on Saturday.
This was our first encounter we came upon them on the road. You have to wait for a good time to pass.
This is out third encounter with Amish.
We have never seen so many carts with horses in one place. I loved going in the store. They all wear the same dress and hat. The men have the beards except the young. The little boys are the cutest ever. But you can’t take a close picture! They buy huge amounts like this one lady bought 9 gallons of ice cream! Butter by the lbs and cheese by the 10lbs.
When we left we saw them packing up.
We then left and could not get out! The roads were closed why? There was an Amish parade! Really?
We finally did get out. They keep their grounds beautiful. It is strange to see the homes with horses, but how else do they drive the carts!
It was so fun driving right in the middle of the Amish to get back to the campground.
Well we got back I don’t know how late. However it was close to dinner time. I made grilled steak, corn and green beans. It was again yummo!
I watched some TV channel 5 news. Sorry I did I was better not knowing what the heck is happening just crazy out of control.
Thanks for coming by I had an enjoyable day. You don’t see so much Amish in a day.
