I woke up early as the cats wouldn’t let me sleep. I’m excited too as we come home today! Well no time to dilly dally! I get dressed and begin packing everything. This includes the draws with clothes, my shoes the chest in the closet and the towels in the bathroom.
Wait I’m not done, the food in the pantry, the coffee in the cabinet for the Kurig, you can’t leave it in the RV all fall and winter! Then the other stuff. By this time my back, neck, side hurts. I’m done. proud that I got so much done!
We have breakfast and get ready to leave. On route to home! Oh no the truck didn’t start! My stomachs turned over! Luckily after a few tries it started. Really! You had to put me thru horror!
We ride home it took about 2.5 hrs. Now the work begins! Taking all the bags and boxes in the house. I am soaked from sweat. I know sounds gross and it is! We empty everything into the house. I don’t have a muscle or joint that doesn’t hurt. Then we have to unload the refrigerator. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.
Well totally exhausted we have to bring the RV to storage. Luckily it is up the road! So we get there and there is a boat washing in front of our spot! OMG! The back and forth of the RV maybe 20 times or more I almost lost it. I was so hot and sweaty and hurting. Leave the freakin thing in the spot!
We go home and we both have to take a shower. It feels so good to shower where there is tons of water pressure and room and you can take your time.
Dinner really? The thought of making food to eat is beyond my bones. We open a jar of matzoh ball soup with matzoh crumbled on top. Perfect dinner.
Well the trip is over and done. It was long and relaxing and in our go to places we know about. We visited family. We had nice days without the horrid humidity of Florida. We meet some nice people. Saw many little RVs they were popular this year. We meet more full timers then before. I’m not there yet. I like a home base and friends you know. But never say never. I wish we had the food store owned by the Amish. The deals we got were totally amazing!
I want to thank all of you who came for a visit. It is close to 9,000. That’s out of my comprehension! But I want to especially thank the over 100 followers. I don’t know who you are they only provide numbers. I don’t think I know that many people! If I gave you a smile on a given day it was worth the share! I hope you continue on my other travel adventures.
The next travel blog is sept 8, I’m going to WA state to visit my son. I can’t wait.
