We wake up but didn’t sleep well it’s our last day. Our plane leaves tonight! So we have breakfast, my last waffle extravaganza! They are good!

We go back to our room and pack everything up. We will leave from my sons apt since the airport is closer to him.

We bring in the small suitcase. The “puddle jumper” my husbands name for this little thing called a car it barely holds 1 suitcase.

Today we take on Mt Rainier. It is a long pretty ride on winding roads with spectacular views. It is really beautiful. My son has been so kind to drive us all over for these 5 days. It was wonderful.

I could go on and on with all the pictures. I wish my legs were stronger so I could walk further. But, I’ve done real well. Here it is stone uneven steps and they go up. Higher than normal! And there are die hards who go on and climb the mtn!

Oh, the best part! The air, yes the air smells like pine! It was incredible. I stood there breathing in and out. The air is so fresh and clean. My son told me some folks can’t come this high up because of the thinner air. I loved it!

It was packed we had to park in an alternate parking lot. I felt bad because I could not walk up hill to the visitors center. We came down the hill and the views were just beautiful. My son is an outdoor man so he loves hiking the trails in all these places and kayaking in the waters. He still does his martial arts too.

We came done from the mtn a long drive. We decided to eat something before riding to the airport so we went to the pub his friend works at behind the bar. We had beers and sandwiches that were very good. She came and sat for a few minutes. She seems so nice and is always bubbly. Is that a word? Anyhow we hope they remain close.

We said bye it was so sad for me. I love him so much. It was so grand to spend time. It was far too long. We drove to the airport with no issue. We got to return the car with no issue. We got on the plane with no issue. It was a long ride 9:45pm to around 5:45am (you loose 3 hrs forward). I didn’t sleep much thinking of my son. We got to Orlando with no issue. We got the lift to the hotel with no issue. The car started with no issue. I even went to the bathroom and took coffee on the way out! We got home with not bad traffic around 8am. Basically, we said hi to the cats and went to sleep.

Well we are home it is Wed. We ate a bite and checked the RV. It is fine (thank you). We went to get our veggies at Aldis. I called and ordered my pills, called to have my mail forwarded. We unpacked the suitcase. Tomorrow laundry.

My visit with my son is over for now. I will go back. It was a great time for us I think and hope we bonded.

Thank you for coming along on this trip. I’m always amazed at the followers. I hope I gave you a smile. Well I will be home for awhile. But, never say never! My next trip is the beginning of October. A cruise to the ABC Islands in the Caribbean. Because of COVID I have moved it 3 times. See ya then. Stay safe and healthy and travel when you can there is so much out there to see and experience!
