Another day of travel but we slept an hour later. We have half a bagel and get ready to go. I will try to up load yesterdays picture because it always is the same.
It looks like I pick the carpet up and thru it! But, no I know where each item goes! Years of practice!
We get going on the road. It’s a five hour drive to Gettysburg, PA. The traffic was pretty awful! The cars and trucks just fly around you and it’s difficult to know which lane to be in because there are so many cross hywys.
As we get up into North MD we can see the Catoctin Mtns. On a clear day they are so pretty. Looks like a drawing.
We finally get to our spot. It is a nice one we pick it out before we come when we make a reservation.
We set everything up because we will be here for a couple of weeks. It will be good to chill for a couple of days.
I made a cauliflower crust pizza, finally found them at Walmart freezer. It is hard to find the crust only. I had fun putting on my sauce, then green and black olives, artichokes, smoked red peppers, cheese and spices. So good! Needed something easy after a long drive. The bourbon then wine helped.
We met a nice couple across the way. The woman says she grew up in Olney, MD. Imagine!
Oh and my phone rang and FDA was calling! No I didn’t answer it!
