SHOPPING DAY AT THE MALL
Yup, we went to this huge outlet in Tannersville, PA, and let me tell you, you can NOT see the whole thing in one day! well, maybe if you’re 50 years younger, you can. Oh, I got a stab of old age when I read that back!
I got the jackpot of sales you will be proud of! It was at Loft a woman’s outlet store sort of mid- upscale. I go to the clearance racks. I find tee shirts that were $39.00 with a discount of 50% GREAT! $20.00 EACH FOR 3 shirts. BUT I’m a member of the store, so I get 10% off the entire package. Then he is a navy military man, so we get another % off. Then they had a special going if you get their credit card $20.00 off the entire package! Sitting down? 3 shirts that initially are about $120.00
I bought them for $2.02 seriously. I was so elated! Yippee!what a deal!
And it was the first store! We went in and out of so many. He got a pair of pants at the Banana Republic. They are an expensive outlet. These pants had some really soft fabric, and they had 2 types relax and slim. Now sitting again? He tried on the slim size 30/30 OMG! Even the sales girl could not believe how great they looked they we tight and he was comfortable! Sold!
I got one other shirt in talbots for a great price. My friend would be proud! She loves that store!
We went in and out till we couldn’t anymore, and we had to save some steps for this odd lot place on the way back. It’s like others but enormous! I was disappointed because I’m nearly done with my suduko book, and all they had was pencils for suduko? Really? And 100s of crossword books. We bought a bunch of stuff. You can’t possibly go in and not come out with something. You don’t even think of the things they have, and you see it and say, “Oh yeah, that’s good.” Like what?
A roll-up for toothpaste, $1.88, and this gadget for holding plants up $1.88 you get the idea.
We got back put everything away and dinner time. I roasted salmon and steamed green beans and some rice. I know it’s boring for me, but hey, I’m down 4.5 lbs. I’m still hanging in there.
Then i was too tired to do anything. I tried to read but had no clue what I read. Ever happen to you? So I went to sleep.
