We get up early still in the parking lot. These mechanics start at 6 am. so they can work before the heat. So he tested the a/c all weekend, and it had issues. We told the head man, and he sent for an a/c rv expert. Well, as luck would have it! We need a new A/C! NOOOOO! Is there one available? NOOOO,

We had some other things done the thing in the frig was fixed and the new TV gizmo. That work automatically was installed! It’s only money, right?

The head mechanic got it in touch with the guru of A/C repair places. They remarkably have a dented one that works. Besides that dent saves us $500.00!

We decided we are not leaving today but tomorrow early so we can be at the A/c shop by 9am.

We decided to go to Walmart. They are huge but clean. We got basic stuff like juice, some veggies oh and additional curtain rods that are tension rods for the frig. Across the street was Aldi, which was fine since I was burnt out and found ricotta, lemon, basil ravioli perfect for dinner.

We then found a gas station, which I think is our biggest bill of the summer. Although campgrounds are expensive, they charge $100.00 per night and up! These are not the resorts either!

Oh, I forgot to add the best thing of all! They had a little shop inside Walmart selling huge soft pretzels gourmet style. We got almond coated. OmG, it was heavenly delicious! We got Carmel sauce as a dip! Yup, it will hit me, but it was worth every bite!

Oh, I saw 2 interesting things on the way. Some of you know that our town makes turtles for display! This town makes elk

Elk

I also saw something confusing.

It’s July, isn’t it? changing a little early? Pretty!

Well, that’s my day. It did get warm in here since the air is not working and we need a new one!

I’m not sure where we go from here. Another town in Indiana. We are lucky we know Paul is the head mechanic. You can’t possibly find this on your own. It’s not what you know but who you know to get in. So I’m grateful for his help. All his help, including the other mechanics, are great guys and know their stuff.

Well, as always, I appreciate that you follow my blog. I hope it gave you a smile! Be careful in the heat. Take care and enjoy!

  1. Holy crap on a cracker!  $100 a night for camping!!!  Really?   I remember we used to pay between $5-$10 for a week.  Wow how things have changed.
