What an interesting day we had today! We decided it was a good idea to do laundry. We had potato veggie pancakes for breakfast with fruit. Different from our usual breakfast.
We had our breakfast, put our laundry in, and headed for the carnival. It was so fun to see the little kids trying the different games. Throwing things in a hole. Hit a target to dunk a person in water.
There was also a petting zoo. All different rabbits, goats and lambs. The kids made the day when the little animals kiss their little hands.
We started to talk to this man, who turns out, owns the animals, and is a butcher. Very interesting conversation.
Then we went to switch the wash to the dryer. The pay is done thru the phone. it’s weird. Then we went to see where the Canon was from yesterday. There were a few men rehearsing how to explode it. No formal demonstration was on schedule. They told us they can’t fire anything because it bothers all the dogs! Really?
We talked with the guys for a while. I got some interesting pictures on my phone. I forgot how to switch them. I did it once, so I will figure it out again.
He had a long talk with one of the guys cause they were both in the navy. I walked around and saw these crazy meds, one was an elixir for overall health, cure everything. Then another elixir for stomach stuff.
I even got a label from a 50lb box of bread from the 1800s.
But I had to leave because of the laundry. We folded and brought it back.
For dinner, I made veal leg cutlets with panko, egg, and cheese. It was a bit under a strong taste. We added lemon, and it helped a lot. But, by the time we ate and was done, we missed whatever country music they had for us.
By the time we were done and cleaned up, the music was over. OH, well.
We enjoyed a bottle of wine instead!
