I am kind of glad to be getting out today. We are going to visit his ma who is 97 years old. Her dear friend Annette, who is 95, will be there too. Also, his 2 bros.
The ride down there was pretty. We saw farms, lots of land and mountains. Then we saw baby cows, so cute.

Well. We kept driving, and we started to see the other side was gaining traffic. It was nearly a stand still.

It is so unsettling to see. Not to mention it’s a holiday weekend. We get there just in time1pm.
There was a spread of food on the kitchen counter that was like a deli. There was roast beef, corned beef, and pastrami yummo! All the trimming as well, potato salad, coleslaw, and others.
His two brothers were there. It was great to see them. One bro seemed exhausted. He works full time and has been taking care of ma cooking for her . Putting up wall railings and whatever else needs doing. The other bro is also helping with ma as well. Both lost weight along with my El. I found all they lost! It’s so not fair.
It was so good to see mom. She is getting around with her walker, and she has to watch her sugar intake. But, she was glad to see everyone together.
I made a huge cornbeef on rye with mustard, cheese, and sourkrat and put it in the microwave …yummo! i went up 2lbs. I will get rid of the extra. It will take a while, but El won’t eat for a day and lose it all!
We said our goodbyes the bros packed a care package. We stopped at Petco for litter, we stopped at HomeGoods! Wow! They had all sorts of Stuff! We went in to get a banana holder. Good thing we didn’t grab a wagon. So fun to look thru all this stuff! I found a banana holder, but also a wine glass to replace the one that broke. I found Columbian coffee, jar of various colored peppers. So fun! Then we went to Aldis and got paper towels, a glamping necessity. We got a few other things.
The drive home wasn’t bad. But on one street, we were behind one car that was hardly moving. What the heck, then he bears left and goes….two ducks were crossing the road! I laughed!
Thank you so very much for reading this blog. It’s more like the effort to switch RVs. It should get better. We are leaving tomorrow! It will get better, I hope. Stay healthy and enjoy!
