June 12, 2024 Lebanon PA

I woke up and decided to read for a while.  Got up in slow motion, did  my chores, put away the dishes, set up the counter for fruit bowl, got my pills, and did the litter.

Then I was getting dressed and was reminded we are going to the Amish store one more time.

We had a great waffle with syrup and fruit. I felt bad to leave Ghost he was ma..ing I think he wanted to go.

I wish this store was near home. The deals are ridiculous! We got 2 boxes for $50.00. Everything is under a dollar. I bought a big bag of polenta, some known name $2.99. Really?

The top is some store next to the country store. They always have colorful chairs outside in all sorts of colors.

The second is a corn field on the left and has been left to dry. Then they bag up the hay for the animals.

We came back, and  we are full. My pantry is busting.  I took everything out and tried to make sense of it. I had two big boxes for the back storage bedrooms.

It was getting late and I wanted to eat by 6ish.  Tonight, we grilled filet steaks, mine rare. Oh, it was so delicious!  I made corn on the cob and broccoli. What an amazing dinner. I should have taken a picture, but I dived right in!

We finished and cleaned up and finished the bottle of wine.  Nice day!

I’m glad you stopped by to read my blog. Thank you so much. Stay safe and enjoy!

I bet your corn on the cob was fresh from the field. Publix corn has been very good until last week. I suppose that means the season is over. If I remember correctly (and I may not), it seems we had corn through August in Minnesota.
