We got up early as we had a tour in the morning. We have been here before so we are doing drach caves. We gathered in the theatre and it was packed and not organized. We got to the bus 15 mins late. After settling in we had to get off because, the bus doesn’t stop! Okay, except being on line to enter the bus with Chinese is impossible because they push their way on first. But we got on.
The boats, no yachts are spectacular !! Enormous vessels with masts way high and beautiful and modern. As we drive it appears the folks live in clusters of apts all together. Some are run down, others new rather a mix.
We stop at the Mallorca pearl factory. They are manufactured pearls not real! Pretty interesting how they do it. It looks like glue from a glue gun. but there were so many buses and crowds were crazy. But we are discussing jewelry so of course I did get a pretty necklace and earrings!
Then back on the bus to the caves. Quite different scenery old homes quite apart but no grass just lines of trees almond, lemon, orange, but nicely groomed even small ones.
The caves were nice, similar to Luray or Howe caverns. They have a lake here and a theatre where a boat with lites with and organ and violin play music. It was nice. But packed like sardines.
We got back and my internet didn’t work, we could not order pictures, I missed the deline for the art I won (but he said he would give it to me next leg). Too much for one day. We barely made happy hour. We did get to dinner and met a funny couple too bad they are getting off tomorrow.
