we had to get up early because it is technically a new cruise and it is our 2nd consecutive cruise out of 5. We had to go thru some process to get new cards and check back in. Actually it went fairly smooth. But then we could not go back to the room because they were cleaning. In order to get off it was bedlam everyone getting off with luggage to end their cruise. So, we went to breakfast! Ah musli, smoked salmon,croissant yummo! Only to remember we were invited to a special lunch for consecutive cruisers!
We went somewhere for coffee and tea for me. We were people watching and talking to other cruisers. Before we knew it lunch was upon us. We went to the dinning room. We had paella ! It was not good and to think we were in Spain. I ordered this chocolate cake and pistachio ice cream it was the largest piece of cake I have ever seen! Even the table next to me couldn’t believe it!
Anyhow a few bites I was done. We decided we can not continue to eat like this so we decide the gym was next. But before we went we decided to make sure our dinner reservations included 7 specialty restaurants on the date and time we wanted. It was at a super special price. We went to this guy who did a fabulous job and fixed everything for us!
Gym bound! CRAP I gained 6 lbs! Not fair so I ran my heart out! Yep burned 225 calories! No don’t laugh ya gotta start somewhere! We take showers and a knock at the door! Our room Stuart, we need to go to fire drill ! We were told if we didn’t changed rooms we didn’t have to go! We were locked in our room for the duration of the drill!
We go to happy hour! They change who can go to that bar but since we know the bar tenders we can stay. Besides on day one, hardly anyone is there. We go to dinner specialty restaurant. We have veal chops, gigantic at least 2lbs or more! Fabulous food and service. We had a young Chinese kid as a waiter. I spoke with him and he knew where my son went to train Kung fu! It was so good to talk with him.
We went to the show a silly magician who we had seen before but he was funny! Tomorrow is a sea day and I want to sleep! We didn’t get off at Barcelona but we have been here many times.
