i was up early! Ok for me 8am. But, the sun was on the balcony and it was quiet. El was sleeping, so I went to sit in the sun! It was nice tried to upload photos but not too successful!
I came in showered and we went to breakfast. It was good. A Chinese lady sat next to us and she was eating lettuce for breakfast? Really! A child with her was having something in a cereal bowl with milk, eating it with a fork! They do not get it.
We walked around and went up in what they call the North Star. A huge arm that raises over the ship and ocean with 14 people inside. Strange but ok. They spent huge bucks for the privilege.
We went to the seaplex where people were in line to swing on a trapeze bar. Okay. Others were playing basketball, others ping pong. We walked on and ended up on clearance alley, shirts for $10.00, cups, quantum cups, etc. I got a cup, and some other free stuff! We walked some more and found a spot to sit and read for a bit. It was quiet.
Then we walked some more and came back to the room. Nap time. Woke to go to free drinks in the diamond lounge. I had lemon drop Martinis so good! We ate at Izumi ! A sushi restaurant, oh so full! It was yummo! We went to the show an English lady singing songs I use to play clarinet with my dad on the grand piano! Brought back memories of old times!
When we came back to our room, we went on the balcony. All these ships were lined up all around waiting to go thru the Suez Canal. It was dark. We felt our ships anchor. The moon is 1/2 and yellow so pretty! Hope I wake early! Captain announced something about 5:30am better get to bed!
