this is a little different than Dubai. There are no skyscraper buildings it is not aloud. They are mostly white, yet their gates are beautiful. We went to 2 museums no pictures. One showed the dress of the people. Nearly all men are in the long dress but here they have some different colors and their head dress is different colors. The women do have beautiful silk gowns, but not in public. They wear the same black dress some with face coverings. It is up to the family what kind of face covering there is to be.
The women are more free here ,they can drive, go to school the government even pays some of it.
We saw swords that were long heavy and s shaped. And there are knives that that are small with a curve that fit in elaborate metal cases that fit In their belts. It seems that every man has one I think for events. Some are beautiful.
The town appears to be on the water at the bottom of mountains huge and jaggared to the water. It was a very hot day our bus ac quit and we had to get another bus. It was over 110 degrees.
