Oy vey! A SIX HOUR TRAVEL DAY IN A TRUCK! Did it Go well, of course not! Virginia OMG the traffic! We sat in non moving parking lot of 95N for about 1&1/2 hours! I do not think I have seen that many cars, that many signs, or that many bridges going every which way at one time since I moved 10 years ago! Wow! They can keep it.
Of course, then I had to pee, and there are no rest areas in MD! Then the brake sign came on..oh it’s panic time! But never fear, we pulled into a park and ride I peed and El fixed the brakes.
And then..ahh the country! It’s amazing how mountains and farms and cows and horses and local restaurants and state parks like Catocton bring back fun memories and relax the tumult that’s created from traffic.
We get our spot as planned and set up. My 3 year tomato plants fell over..OMG the dirt spilling in the front door! BE calm, clean it up and bring the plants outside, bring the cats inside…all is going well.
Except.I brought my wok and it got stuck in the draw! Tried to fix it myself but who’s kidding when your husband sees you on the floor having a fit. BUT… He got it out! Yippee.
We have a nice spot, shady but its packed people and kids everywhere! Don’t folks have legs?. Doesn’t every health article say walk walk walk! No nearly every family has a golf cart.
So I relax during this season and El does the gossip.
