TALK ABOUT A SLOW BEGINNING! It was raining all night and into the morning. So it was grey outside and the cats were waiting for the sun. I woke after 9:00 am and they were fast asleep on the bed. I had to pee so bad..try getting out of bed and not waking 2 sleeping cats ..ha!
It was raining off and on so we decided to just go shopping to get some veggies and fruit.
I am in love with a new supermarket PRICE CHOPPERS! First it was spotless and everyone was so nice, similar to publix. HERES WHERE IT CHANGES. There was every kind of everything and stuff you have never seen! I found farro! No kamut. I am into trying these new found beans and grains. I love to cook and I’m into healthy and trying more veggie stuff.
The meat department to die for! They even had a butcher so you could ask for a certain cut, thicker, thinner! Ah, reminds of Brooklyn, NY where you went to the butcher ordered your exact meat and it would be delivered in wax paper labeled for the freezer…ah back in the day way back!
The fish dept was large. Certainly they eat clams here. It was bagged in every size 5lbs or more on ice. SHRIMP WOW WAS IT LARGE. All sizes and bags. Not as impressive as the meat.
The best..the DAIRY DEPT! It was entirely in a refrigerated compartments, just like the freezer dept. or think of where milk is sometimes. But this was everything. Nothing was in an open display. Awesome.
We took a small wagon and of course I over filled it, even though we came for fruit and veggies!
We had left overs for dinner. It was so wet outside and grey. We turned the fireplace on and I finished my book, me before you. I guess the hype on the movie and all, before you started reading it, you knew it was a sad story. And there is another book to follow it.
Time for another book😀 luv yas
