I was so excited to get going today. We were going to a resort that included a rodeo.
We had French toast for breakfast YUMMO! We got there in the afternoon. There was a couple of guys playing country music, oh yes, and chairs outside near a small pond. there was and outdoor bar and indoor bar. We got a beer and listened to the music. then we decided to get food. BQ ribs and fries with beer..now your talking! It was fun looking at the people wearing the cowboy clothes. boots, hats, belts, scarves kids were the cutest.
They had a huge tent and it was a surprise to find out the Budweiser Clydesdales were there! All dozen were there! They are well taken care of. one horse eats 50lb of hay, grain and drink 30 gals of water, they weigh over 2,000lbs! They are huge!
Then we went to the rodeo. first we walked to the back and saw them getting ready with all the horses. We saw these small bulls in a pen. The we sat in the bleachers. First they all rode around the ring. the first event was roping the small Bulls. Then the girls roped little Bulls. There was 2 cow boys roping Bulls. then there was barrel racing with girls. Then there was kicking horse riding! That was crazy. Then the huge bull riding, if they stayed on for 2 seconds it was a lot. Fun day
